I just purchased Aeon Timeline. I will be using it on my office PC and my laptop. There is some data which is so sensitive that I am not willing to upload it to the cloud. Is there a workaround that will allow me to sync data between different devices, such as keeping everything on one password protected flash drive and plugging the flash drive in to whatever device I am using?
I use the cloud and open the project file so no reason why you couldn’t open from a flash drive. Save the sensitive project as project test 1 and see if can load the copied project at the second location . Your copy insulates the original.

Yes, you can work with Aeon Timeline across multiple computers without using cloud syncing.
One option is to store your timeline file on a password-protected USB flash drive and open that same file on whichever computer you’re using. If you choose this approach, we recommend keeping regular backup copies of your timeline on your computers as well, since USB drives can fail or be misplaced.
If you attach files or images to your timeline, they are embedded within the timeline file and will travel with it automatically.
If you instead link to external files, those files will also need to be available on both computers. In that case, we’d recommend using relative paths rather than absolute paths (File → Convert Links to → Relative Paths). This helps ensure linked files can still be found if the USB drive is assigned a different drive letter on another computer.
Hopefully, that gives you a workflow that keeps your data local while still allowing you to work across multiple devices.
