Hello everyone, I just got the aeontime line, it is beautiful btw.
I have still figuring out the software. I also use scrievener, I tried to sync between aeontimeline to scrievener ,but only timeline item type visible is locations. I dont know how to rest of my item groups timeline item
In my particular case, I created my outline in AT3 and, in the process, set up AT3 custom fields before creating my Scrivener project. Doing it this way has the benefit of having AT3 set up the chapters and scenes (from the outline) and custom metadata fields in Scrivener for me. Itâs not for everyone, but I thought I would mention it in case you havenât yet created your Scrivener project. For me, it saved having to gain a deeper understanding of how Scrivener works before getting started on the drafting itself. (The deeper understanding flows from the process of drafting, but at least I didnât have to spend hours and days learning Scrivener before getting started.)
Others here will be able to offer you more help than I can, but in case itâs helpful, here are my AT3 sync settings:
Location corresponds to the âLocationâ folder in Scrivener. In my case, I donât sync with this folder, as you can see from my screenshots. But you certainly can sync with it, if thatâs your preference.
Hey @onqun sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
One thing I noticed when looking at your screenshot above is that the Narrative folder is set to sync with your Research folder in Scrivener. Is that intentional?
Generally, itâs best to sync with the top-level folder in your binder, which could be the Manuscript or Draft.
Another thing to check is that both these boxes, next to the People item type, are unchecked. It wonât show up as an option to sync if either of them are checked.
If theyâre both unchecked and youâre still having problems, shoot an email through to support@aeontimeline.com with a copy of both files (if youâre comfortable with that) and weâll dig into it to see whatâs going on.
