Last year we had a question here that was aimed in a similar direction.
I suggested combining individuals/families and places of residence in events. These events can then also be related to the individuals and addresses (which are also created as item types).
For example, we have the Smallways family as an item. Then we have Bun Hill and Little Bazeley addresses as items. The time span where the Smallways live in Bun Hill is an event. The same applies to the time span where they live in Little Bazeley.
