If Scrivener, Aeon Timeline, and Obsidian had a baby: The perfect features for my fantasy novel series

I’ve done it. I’ve created the perfect single writing app for my fantasy novel series. By perfect, I mean perfect for me because I included the exact features I want, nothing more, nothing less. I did it by building the features I actually use from Scrivener and Aeon Timeline, plus several neither has, inside of Obsidian. I’ve already written and published a nonfiction book with it, and am now in the revisions stage of my fantasy novel. I made this video for a writer’s group but thought to share it here as well. In it, I walk through the features, using the Wizard of Oz books as the example. (I recommend expanding the video to full size.)

Nice. I’ve been rather distracted by work, so I’ll listen again this evening.

Wow! Its great. I am also have the same prblm jumping between aeon, scrivener and obsidian. do u post the link of your plugin?

Thanks.

I created the views I show in the video using the free Datacore plugin. The main point of sharing that was to show what’s possible with Obsidian and Datacore. I don’t have a separate plugin to share.

Thanks Steve. Its really awesome. You should create a second video for the tutorial. Or just upload that example vault in Github. It will be very helpful.
