As the current iPad is fast becoming much more of a productivity device, especially for writers, given ubiquitous internet, bluetooth/smart/connected kekboards, etc…, and the abundance of spreadsheet & database software on ipad (ExCel, Numbers, Google Sheets,… Airtable, Ninox, Filemaker,…) it’s annoying data needs to get imported on a pc or mac, then synched to the iPad.
Even basic .CSV import capabilities on iPad would go a long way towards speeding up the input of eg character lists, dates & events, or historical timelines found on the 'net.
Thanks for the feedback. I can understand how having to move to a Mac or PC just to import the data, before syncing it back to the iPad, adds an unnecessary extra step to an otherwise iPad-based workflow.
We do plan to work on improving feature parity between the iPad and desktop versions of Aeon Timeline, and I’ve added your feedback about having CSV import available on iPad.
